What We Do
A National Advocate for Quieter Skies
AICA projects aim to protect communities from harmful levels of aviation noise and emissions through campaigns for legislation and industry change in the United States.
POSITION PAPERS
We produce position papers which analyze problems and possible solutions needed to protect aviation-impacted communities.
ADVOCACY LETTERS
We collaborate with advocates nationwide to amplify our shared positions, to ensure key decision-makers are aware of aviation impacts on overflown communities, and to urge stakeholders to take action for mitigation.
PRESENTATIONS
We present at conferences, summits, and meetings about aviation impacts, with the goal of ensuring that the perspectives of directly impacted residents from overflown communities are represented, understood, and acted upon.
MEDIA COVERAGE
AICA projects are featured by the media and press. This coverage grows awareness, strengthens alliances, and inspires action.
ADDITIONAL POLICY EFFORTS
We inform, educate, and influence key decision-makers in Congress, the Executive Branch, Airports, and Airlines with the goal of accelerating legislative change to reduce impacts from aviation operations.
