Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) – January 2025 to Current
AICA is active in representing communities directly affected by Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in federal legislation, policy development, research, and industry practices. This ongoing project area includes AICA’s presentations, policy materials, research participation, and AAM resources, including Darlene Yaplee, AICA President and Co-Founder, contributing author for NASA’s Urban Air Mobility Noise: 2025 Update on Current Practice, Gaps, and Recommendations and author of AAM presentations for the Aviation Noise & Emissions Symposium (ANES). As AAM continues to emerge, AICA’s work focuses on ensuring that communities’ lived experience is represented in decisions about AAM noise, operations, and impacts.
