62 Organizations Signed Letter to NextGen Advisory Committee (NAC) Re: Community Engagement Meetings – July 2021

Description: 62 communities nationwide that are severely impacted by aviation noise and emissions sent a letter to leaders on the NAC, including FAA Administrator Dickson, urging the NAC to ensure it hears from a broad range of perspectives if/when it holds meetings about community engagement on aviation noise. The letter was subsequently excerpted in Airport Noise Report (ANR).

The July 12, 2021 letter requests the NAC to include representatives who are a mix of resident/community advocates and elected officials from communities that are directly impacted by aviation operations across the country, including but not limited to Metroplexes and single sites.
