2. Media Coverage: “Communities, Env. Groups Criticize FAA’s Draft Transition Plan To Unleaded Fuel” Airport Noise Report (ANR)

April 10, 2026 – The ANR newsletter covered broad criticism of the FAA’s Draft Transition Plan for Unleaded Aviation Gasoline from national coalitions, including Earthjustice and the Aviation-Impacted Communities Alliance, along with perspectives from Oregon Aviation Watch. The groups argue the plan relies too heavily on market forces rather than regulatory action, lacks a clear path to achieve the 2030 transition, and fails to meaningfully include affected communities as key stakeholders in implementation.
